To set up your I LOCK IT on your smartphone, carry out the following steps:
- Start the I LOCK IT app
- Click on the Set up I LOCK IT button
- Follow the instructions in the app to set up your I LOCK IT
- After the setup has been completed successfully, the I LOCK IT app establishes a secure connection to your I LOCK IT
- As soon as the process is completed, the I LOCK IT button lights up blue for 5 seconds and the I LOCK IT app confirms successful pairing
- You now assign your color code to secure your I LOCK IT.
Attention!
Please remember your personal color code carefully or write it down. The personal color cose is used for emergency opening if the smartphone is without power or lost.

The initial setup of a smartphone is only possible when I LOCK IT is in Pairing mode. This is indicated by the button flashing blue. Follow the instructions in the I LOCK IT app to put I LOCK IT in paiting mode.
- A new I LOCK IT still has the factory settings and the pairing mode is started as soon as the button is pressed once.
- If the blue LED goes out before a connection has been established, the button must be pressed again to enable the connection.
