Automatic Mode

Automatic closing

  • “Activated” I LOCK IT closes automatically when distancing from the bike
  • “deactivated” I LOCK IT does not close automatically
  • “Distance to close”, the distance can be adjusted in steps

Attention:

If your bike is in motion, the locking process is not possible. I LOCK IT detects this using several sensors and prevents automatic closing in this case.

 

Automatic opening

  • “Activated” I LOCK IT opens automatically when approached
  • “deactivated” I LOCK IT does not open automatically
  • “Distance to open”, the distance can be adjusted in steps.

Attention:

Automatic opening only takes place if your I LOCK IT has locked automatically or you have moved at least 5 m away from your bike after manually locking it.

 

Please note:

The distance for the automatic mode is determined by the Bluetooth signal strength. This depends on :

  • the used smartphone
  • the position of the smartphone to the I LOCK IT
  • the surroundings.

Even a smartphone case can lead to significant changes in the signal strength, also can carrying a smartphone in a trouser pocket or backpack.
