Lock and Unlock

Attention:
If your bike is in motion, the locking process is not possible. I LOCK IT detects this using several sensors and prevents closing in this case.

 

Open I LOCK IT with the App:

  • Open the I LOCK IT app on your smartphone
  • Press the I LOCK IT "unlock now!" button
  • After opening, the I LOCK IT button lights up green for 5 seconds

Close I LOCK IT  with the App:

  • Open the I LOCK IT app on your smartphone
  • Press the I LOCK IT "lock now!" button
  • After closing, the I LOCK IT button lights up red for 5 seconds

An acoustic warning tone sounds before the closing process; this can be deactivated in the settings
If a movement occurs during closing, the closing process is stopped and I LOCK IT then flashes red three times
After closing, the I LOCK IT button lights up red for 5 seconds

 

Open with the I LOCK IT button

  • Your smartphone has be connected to I LOCK IT and physically nearby. Then you can open the I LOCK IT by pressing the button
  • After opening, the I LOCK IT button lights up green for 5 seconds
  • If there is no connection to the smartphone, it can only be opened using the color code.

Close with the I LOCK IT button

  • Press the LOCK IT button until it lights up red and release
  • Closing is only possible when the I LOCK IT is fully open
  • An acoustic warning tone sounds before the closing process. This can be deactivated in the settings
  • If a movement occurs during closing, the closing process is stopped and I LOCK IT then flashes red three times
  • After closing, the I LOCK IT button lights up red for 5 seconds
